Here is the planting we did for National Tree Day. It's a bit bare and could probably do with mulching due to the mass of weeds that had completely smothered the entire area.

First Post!

Hello! The next few posts will document some of the plants found in the reserve, both good and bad, to get a general overview of the state of health it's in. Hopefully I will follow up with a more detailed evaluation and complete survey of the area, before coming up with an action plan. In the meantime I will commence with some basic weeding to get things started.

Here is a picture of a Wedding Bush (Ricinocarpus pinifolius) that's just come into flower!
